French Tips

On Tueday, I went to have my nails filled.  I was tired of the plain ole nail polish look, so Sabrina(the girl who does my nails), suggested that we do a french tip using the Muppets collection.  I needed something that stood out, so I decided to do an accent nail on each hand.  Actually, I don't know what colors she used as I let her pick.

I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but in fact, I love it!  It's subtle, yet has that glam factor that I like.  I want something for the holiday season, but not a classic red and green and to be honest, I stink at nail art.

imPRESS Press-on Manicure

Yesterday, I received my Influenster’s VoxBox via their program.  I've taught my 6 yr old niece well.  She grabbed the imPress Press-on nails right out of the box even before I could get my hands on them.  Within a matter of a few minutes, she had on the nails and loves them!  The two of us already picked out several different pattern that we liked and plan on using the $1.00 coupon that was sent along with the box.  Thank you Influenster for an awesome VoxBox.  Oh, and Destiny thanks you too!

My SS Package Arrived

My SS package arrived today!  w00t.  She is the BESTEST!!!  I ♥ EVERYTHING!!!  She got me Passionate Persimmon Hand Cream by Pink, OPI Are We There Yet?, essence HOLO in Prismatic White(I'm drooling over here lol), essence Mellow Yellow, Pixel Diz Bang Digital, essence mini lip gloss, an adorable reindeer bag that had black licorice in it, a cute Santa ornament and purple snowman socks.  You rock SS!!!!  Thank you SO much!

OPI Meep Meep Meep

Two days ago, I decided to get my nails filled.  I know, I know...a lot of people are "against" acrylics.  I find that with them, my nails and hands look better.  Without them, I feel like I have "man hands" as I call them.

I knew that I wanted to try OPI's Meep Meep Meep, since it looked so pretty on another bloggers nails.  I usually don't wear reds as I do not think that red is a good color for my nails or me.  I don't even own one piece of red clothing.  But, I gave it a shot.

I'm still not sure what I think about it.  I was thinking about using one of my BM plates and stamping a design with silver.  Who knows.  I just might change the color...everyday!  For me, I'm not impressed with the color :/

BM 212 Nail Art

Today's Nail Art:

Basecoat: Wet N Wild Carribean Frost, BM 212 peacock stamped with Rimmel Midnight Blue, Wet N Wild Hallucinate for some bling and SV topcoat.

In other news, hubby saw on Craigslist last night that a lady just closed down her salon and has over 80 bottles of brand new, never used China Glaze nail polish. We hopped right on it and sent her an email.

I spoke to her this morning and she told me that they were mine if I wanted them and that she also had a nail rack that we would give me.

We are going to her house tonight to pick them up.

I am so excited. This just made my year.

w00t.

So, here's the thing. I do not need 80 bottles of polish. Well, yes I do LOL but I want to have a giveaway if I get enough followers. I just don't know how to set this blog up to have one. I'll have to figure that out or ask someone. I have other brands that I would like to giveaway as well.

I don't post often because I suffer from daily chronic headaches and they keep me laid up, so when I am having somewhat of a good day, I do my nails.

Water Marbling

This is my first attempt at water marbling.  Personally, I think it looks much better in person then it does it the pictures.  My nails still need to be cleaned up a bit.  Nonetheless, I am still happy with the way it turned out.  Start to finish, it took me an hour.  That includes taping of the fingers and cleaning my fingers.  The colors I chose for this mani were:

And, I used SV as my topcoat.

I was going to get them, but thought that I should think about it first. In the meantime, I purchased Finger Paints. I am new to this brand. Anyone who uses it, I would love your feedback :) I got:

Expensive Pedi

These are my toes. This is the work of my 6 yr old niece. Each toe was painted a different color from the Funky Fingers Island Collection. Then, she used China glaze and crackle-ized(her word) each nail with a different color. This pedi costs me 900 trillion billion dollars. She settled for a buck :)
